The Pitch

The Pitch 2021 Leaderboard

After receiving over 500 entries, we had the difficult job of choosing 40 startups that would make it to our regional semi-finals in Bristol, Manchester and London.

We then picked the top ten from those semi-final heats to compete at The Pitch Final on 4th November. But there could only be one winner…

Winner of The Pitch 2021: Goodloans 🏆

What a line-up of finalists we had this year! Our panel of expert judges had their work cut out for them, but in the end decided that Goodloans was a more than worthy winner, with YesRef winning People’s Choice.

Goodloans is improving financial inclusion among Ghanaian business owners through phone-based loans. The team has just launched their first trial, have a wealth of experience and have been backed by Monzo’s Tom Blomfield.

Watch Goodloans founder Zak perform the pitch that won The Pitch 2021 competition.
