Simon Squibb is an angel investor, mentor and entrepreneur who has invested in more than 60 startups.
After working with The Pitch last year, Simon Squibb has joined us again to help startups thrive. He’s offering up an hour of his time to speak to one of our lucky applicants for a mentoring session. You’ll have the chance to:
- Pick his brains on business challenges
- Get advice on how to pitch to investors
- Find out what he looks for when investing in startups
Simon’s experience in the startup space
Simon currently runs the Purposeful Project podcast, where he talks with some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs to find out how to start and scale a successful business.
You likely have come across him on social too: with over 450k TikTok followers and 18k Linkedin followers, it would be pretty hard to miss him.
Simon is on a mission to help 10,000,000 people start a business and build a community that solves unemployment. In a pitch, Simon says he’s looking for authenticity.
“The most important thing is that I’m investing in someone that really believes in what they’re doing, and can show it’s possible to make their idea happen,” he said.
Simon worked with The Pitch in 2021, giving applicants advice on perfecting their pitch. You can watch his Q&A on the questions he most often asks startups here:
How do I enter?
